This digital credential contains verified metadata that describes your participation in our courses and the topics and skills that were covered within them.
Representing your experiences as a badge gives you a way to share your abilities online in a way that is simple, trusted, and easily verified. Badges provide employers and peers concrete evidence of what you have participated in to earn your badge. Credly also offers labor market insights, based on your skills. You can search and apply for job opportunities through the Credly platform.
No, however, you will need to establish an account with Credly to access and use you badge.
Yes, you can download your badge from the Share Badge page. Your downloaded badge contains Open Badge Infrastructure (OBI) compliant metadata embedded into the image. This allows you to store your badge on other OBI-compliant badge sites, such as the Mozilla backpack.
You can share your badge directly from Credly's Platform to LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook; over email; embedded in a website or in your email signature.
You will receive an email notification from the Credly Platform (admin@credly.com) with instructions for claiming your badge and setting up your account.
We have partnered with Credly to translate the learning topics you have covered into a badge, issued, and managed through the company’s platform. The technology Credly uses is based on the Open Badge Standards maintained by IMS Global. This enables you to manage, share and verify your competencies digitally.

Currently, Ansys offers two levels of certifications: Associate Certifications and Simulation Certifications. Associate Certifications certify a basic understanding of physics and engineering concepts and the application of simulations. Simulation Certifications certify applying simulations to solve and design specific industrial applications like 5G antenna design or self-expanding stents.
Ansys Associate Certifications are intended to certify a basic understanding of physics and engineering concepts and the application of simulations. After purchasing the certification, you will receive access to an examination that consists of two sections:
Section 1: A mix of 45 questions designed to test your understanding of the theory of the covered topic. Users have 60 minutes to complete.
Section 2: This section tests your ability to set up and analyze simulation problems using Ansys tools. For instance, you will be asked to run an Ansys Fluent simulation and answer questions based on it. You will be provided with the necessary instructions and the starting files needed for setting up the simulation.
Ansys Simulation Certifications certify the knowledge of applying simulations to solve and design specific industrial applications like 5G antenna design or self-expanding stents. The certification consists of a collection of required courses that explain the design and analysis process of the specific application. The courses include workshops, walkthrough videos and simulation files. Each course has an assessment based on the course content and simulations. Students must complete the simulations and related assessment for each course as outlined on the product page to obtain the Ansys Simulation Certificate.
We highly recommend that you review the recommended courses and learnings before purchasing and attempting any Ansys Certifications exams. We provide two (2) attempts for each certification exam. If you do not pass the exam in these two attempts, you will not earn the certification or be provided a refund. If you wish to try beyond these two attempts, you can purchase the certification exam again.

The badges are templated and designed by Ansys and click through to a description of what was earned. Additionally, the badges carry the certified skills as meta-data which makes the skills verifiable and credible.
All certification tests are only available in English currently.
The Ansys Associate Certification test consists of two sections:

All the questions are in multiple choice format. Each question will have four (4) options and may have one or more correct answers.
Each certification is timed to be finished in no more than 180 minutes as detailed on the product page.
If you are unable to finish the test within allotted time, then you are evaluated for only those questions that you have answered, and all the unanswered questions will be marked incorrect.
If you get stuck, you can skip the current question and navigate between the different questions by using the "Previous" and "Next" buttons.
No, once you start the exam, you must finish the test within the time provided for the exam.
All certifications are designed to be completed using free Ansys student products. Software requirements for downloading our free student products are available in the “System and Browser Requirements” section of each product here, or available using via cloud access purchased by you from CADFEM India Private Limited on our site.
Completing Ansys Innovation Courses is not a requirement of taking or passing Ansys Associate Certification exams. However, Ansys strongly recommends taking the free courses to improve the chances of passing the exams successfully.
Each Ansys Associate Certification lists the recommended Ansys Innovation Courses. Before taking the certification exam, Ansys highly recommends that you enroll in and complete the recommended Ansys Innovation Learning Track associated with the certification.
All the certification tests are designed to be completed using free Ansys student products found here. However, if your computer is a barrier to using our free download locally or you prefer to access our free products on the cloud, you can purchase cloud computing hours on the Ansys Innovation Marketplace from CADFEM India Private Limited to access our free student products on the cloud. This cloud access is provided by CADFEM via Microsoft Azure Lab Services. Cloud access details are sent to users once they buy the course or certification. The duration of the cloud virtual machine access varies by the certification or course you have selected. Ansys Innovation Courses will provide a notification on the product page for any offering that is going to be removed a minimum of ten (10) days in advance. Additionally, if you purchased a product that is now removed and have not used it within the relevant window, we will refund your payment.
Both the free Ansys Innovation Courses and the Ansys Premium Courses are taught via visually engaging lecture videos and simulation examples. While the free courses focus on more general topics, the premium courses teach industry specific topics using specific applications so the users can learn job or industry relevant skills.
Your purchased course contents will always be available to you to view and access, however, if you purchased a Certification with your Ansys Premium Course, you have 6 months from the date of purchase to complete the required materials and earn the course completion badge.

To earn a course completion badge, you must purchase the digital badge and successfully complete all the course lessons, simulation workshops, and quizzes successfully. You can always purchase a course completion badge after you have completed the required materials. Ansys badges are issued by Credly. Yes, you can purchase cloud hours on the Ansys Innovation Marketplace. While available to purchase on the Ansys Innovation Marketplace, Ansys does not provide and is not responsible for providing any cloud access. Any cloud access or offerings purchased on the Ansys Innovation Marketplace are fulfilled by CADFEM India Private Limited and are governed by the terms established between you and CADFEM. If you purchase a product or bundle that includes cloud access, you will receive a separate email directly from Microsoft Azure Lab Services. Cloud hour usage requires a Microsoft account to login and access, which can be created during the sign-in process for the cloud access.

No, the only cost will be to initially obtain the badge itself from Ansys Innovation Marketplace. However, users must establish a separate account with Credly to accept and utilize the Credly badge.
You may request a full refund for an Ansys Innovation Marketplace purchase within fourteen (14) days from the date of purchase if you are dissatisfied for any reason. Refunds may take up to four (4) business days to process. If your refund was approved but you have not received it after four (4) business days, first check with your credit card company as companies can have varying policies on days the number of days it takes for processing refunds. Your access to an offering will be cancelled after your refund is processed. There are no refunds provided for any products including cloud hours once any of the hours have been consumed. If you purchased multiple products on one order, you may request a refund for a subset of the unused products.
