When I finish a certification, do I receive a certificate or just a badge?
Users who complete the certifications successfully are provided a digital badge and a digital certificate, both of which can be shared on social media platforms such as LinkedIn.
What are the hardware and software requirements for the certification?
All certifications are designed to be completed using free Ansys student products. Software requirements for downloading our free student products are available in the “System and Browser Requirements” section of each product here, or available using via cloud access purchased by you from CADFEM India Private Limited on our site.
May I take an Ansys Associate Certification exam without taking any courses?
Completing Ansys Innovation Courses is not a requirement of taking or passing Ansys Associate Certification exams. However, Ansys strongly recommends taking the free courses to improve the chances of passing the exams successfully.
Are there recommended courses to help me prepare for an Ansys Associate Certification?
Each Ansys Associate Certification lists the recommended Ansys Innovation Courses. Before taking the certification exam, Ansys highly recommends that you enroll in and complete the recommended Ansys Innovation Learning Track associated with the certification.

How long does it take to complete the certification exam?
Each certification is timed to be finished in no more than 180 minutes as detailed on the product page.
What if I do not finish the test within the allotted time?
If you are unable to finish the test within allotted time, then you are evaluated for only those questions that you have answered, and all the unanswered questions will be marked incorrect.
During the test can I skip and question and come back to it later?
If you get stuck, you can skip the current question and navigate between the different questions by using the “Previous” and “Next” buttons.
Can I pause an exam and resume it later?
No, once you start the exam, you must finish the test within the time provided for the exam.
